I am a part of Grace because not only am I supported in my faith, I am challenged as well. As part of the larger Body of Christ we are called together – I absolutely feel this at Grace.
My wife and I love Grace because of the connections we’ve made and how everyone feels like family.
From the first time I visited Grace, I felt welcomed. Over the years, I have met so many kind, caring, wonderful people here at Grace. Walking in the doors feels like walking into a home away from home.
Grace is a wonderful place for worship. We have a genuinely kind and welcoming church family. I also appreciate all of the ways one can enjoy and get involved musically.
GLC has been a big part of our family’s lives for decades. It’s one of the reasons we decided to stay in Champaign-Urbana AFTER retirement, too!
A welcoming, inclusive church. Really a place for everyone to know Christ’s love, whether liberal or conservative, cradel Lutheran or Christian seeker. A very family (and non-traditional family & extended family) supporting environment. Dynamic music program, celebrating both traditional Lutheran worship and more contemporary liturgies. And most importantly, a Gospel-centered worship and Eucharist celebration each week.
