It’s time for another round of making birthday and anniversary cards for Lay Ministry on Monday, September 24, from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. in the Hoffmesier Room As always, no experience necessary … fellowship and fun are a part of the creative endeavor. Just bring your lunch and a smile!
It’s finally September so that means it’s time to bubble. Attend our congregation-wide celebration – Bubbling Over with Love and Service – September 9 immediately after service.
Social Ministry and Christian Education have put together a full set of activities. We will have bubble blowing, make your own bubble wand, numerous games, and four service projects that include making peanut butter sandwiches, writing thank you notes to first responders, and putting together our school kits and health kits. And of course, fun tasty refreshments provided by the Hospitality Committee. Join us one and all!
Grace has agreed to provide volunteers to deliver meals for Meals on Wheels October 1-5. To help, sign up in the Narthex through September 16.
Our project to collect school supplies and personal care supplies for Lutheran World Relief School Kits and Personal Care Kits is nearly complete! The congregation’s response has been so generous. THANK YOU! At this point we have commitments for the few remaining items needed. Please join us to help put the kits together on Bubbling Over with Love and Service Day on September 9.
