Grace Lutheran Church welcomes Jon Arnold as our new Director of Music.  Jon is a native of Atlanta, who will be starting the Doctorate of Musical Arts in choral conducting at Illinois this fall.  He holds the Bachelor of Arts in voice and the Master of Music in choral conducting from Emory University.  In Georgia, Jon had a diverse career including two community choirs and full-time music ministry at Cross of Life Lutheran Church in Roswell, where he conducted the chancel choir and handbells and led the contemporary band.  His wife, Megan, is a coloratura soprano working in New York City.  Jon will be leading the choir and bell choir at Grace.  Jon is excited to join the worship life at Grace and is looking forward to meeting all of you!  We are glad you are joining us, Jon.

On Sunday, May 21, at the 10:30 a.m. service, Alex Underwood directs the Grace Lutheran Church Choir for the final time. Worship and Music, Bell Choir, and Adult Choir would like to thank Alex for his time and service as Grace’s Director of Music. We wish him well as he finishes his doctorate this summer and moves on to the next stage of his career.
